Together with remarks on the resolutions of Congress, and laws of the different states, by a Republican. : To which is added, an appendix; containing the resolutions of Congress, of the 11th of August, recommending the executive of the state of New-York to convene the legislature, to take into their consideration the aforesaid recommendation; and the proceedings of the 23d of August, containing the answer of the governor of New-York, to the first recommendation, and the resolutions of Congress consequent thereon.
